MODERNIZING THE LOOK:
MASTER BATHROOM
Out with the old and in with the new!
The wallpaper and oak cabinets had to go. While we’re at it, how about removing the carpet and installing modern looking stone tile over Shluter water-proofing and decoupling material. The new paint, updated cabinet, tile installation and modern fixtures modernized the look of this master bathroom. This project met the functional and aesthetic needs of the homeowners.

DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE IN YOUR MIND OF WHAT YOU WANT? HAVE YOU PICKED OUT THE MATERIAL YOU’D LIKE TO HAVE IN PLACE OF WHAT’S THERE? ARE YOU UNSURE OF HOW TO GET YOUR BATHROOM LOOKING LIKE THE WAY YOU WANT?
These questions come up during project consultation. Having an idea of what you want done is a great start because that lets me, your General Contractor, work within a creative boundary on your behalf. No idea what you want? No problem. We can team with a Designer to help discover your likes and dislikes to come up with your design. The video below shows a finished shower waiting for glass install, updated vanity, sink and tiled floor throughout the bathroom.

Modern and Bright
Before the project, the bathroom felt outdated with a never used jetted tub and small, dark alcove shower in the corner (pictured here). Replacing the back shower wall with glass opened up the “cave” to allow in natural light. Simple white subway tile is offset by large hex floor tile, all tied together with a mist gray grout. The slipper tub is more comfortable than the old jetted tub and adds a classy flair. Open storage vanity has hidden electrical outlets to power all those grooming accessories.
